Directions

The Inn is approximately 59 miles from Portland, 101 miles from Bangor and 275 miles from Presque Isle. If you get lost, call Spruce Point at (207) 633-4152.

From the South

  • I/95 North (Same as Maine Turnpike) to Exit 52 (formerly Exit 9).
  • Exit through toll and follow signs for I/295 North towards Brunswick ~ approximately 20 miles.
  • Take I/295 North to Exit 28 or 31 that will connect you to Coastal Route One.
  • Go North on Route One through Bath and Wiscasset. (about 19.5 miles)
  • One mile past the Wiscasset Bridge, take the Route 27 South Exit to the Boothbay Region.
  • Continue about 12 miles until you reach the set of traffic lights at the intersection of Route 27 and Route 96.
  • Continue straight through the intersection and at the top of the hill, bear right onto Oak Street.
  • Go one block on Oak Street and then take a left hand turn onto Union Street.
  • Take Union Street until it dead ends into Atlantic Avenue and take a right.
  • The entrance to Spruce Point (stone gates) is approximately 1.5 miles and the Inn itself is another .5 miles ahead.

From the North

  • I/95 South (Same as Maine Turnpike) to I/295 South exit toward Brunswick (toll applies)
  • Take I/295 South to Exit 31A (Topsham) that will connect you to Coastal Connector (Route 196) to Route One.
  • Take Route one North toward Bath (the Blue Star Memorial Highway).
  • Go North on Route One through Bath and Wiscasset (about 19.5 miles)
  • One mile past the Wiscasset Bridge, take the Route 27 South Exit to the Boothbay Region.
  • Continue about 12 miles until you reach the set of traffic lights at the intersection of Route 27 and Route 96
  • Continue straight through the intersection and at the top of the hill, bear right onto Oak Street.

Coastal Route from the North

  • Take Route One South.
  • Turn left on Cross Road, which merges into Boothbay Road (Route 27).
  • Continue (about 12 miles) on Boothbay Road, which becomes Wiscasset Road until you reach the set of traffic lights at the intersection of Route 27 and Route 96.
  • Continue straight through the intersection and at the top of the hill, bear right onto Oak Street.
